Timetable
The Timetable page is where you build a weekly schedule for a class — which subject and teacher meet on which day, at what time, and in which room.
Accessing Timetable
Click Timetable in the sidebar navigation.
Picking a Class
At the top of the page is a Class dropdown listing every class in your school (with its section, if it has one). Pick one to see and edit its schedule. If you haven't created any classes yet, the page tells you to do that first on the Classes page.
Adding a Schedule Slot
Once a class is selected, an Add slot form appears:
| Field | Required | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Day | Yes | Monday through Sunday |
| Start | Yes | Start time |
| End | Yes | End time — must be later than Start |
| Subject + Teacher | No | One of the subjects already linked to this class, shown with its assigned teacher |
| Room | No | Free text, e.g. "12" |
Click Add slot to save it. If the end time isn't after the start time, you'll get an error and the slot won't be added.
TIP
The Subject + Teacher list only shows subjects already linked to this class — that happens on the class's own Subjects & teachers tab, not here. If it says "No subjects assigned to this class," go to Classes, open the class, and assign subjects and teachers there first. A slot can still be added without picking a subject, but it'll show as "No subject" on the schedule.
The Weekly Schedule
Below the Add slot form, the Weekly schedule card lists every slot for the selected class, grouped under a heading for each day that has at least one slot, in time order. Each slot shows its time range, the subject (or "No subject" if none was picked), and the teacher and room underneath. Days with nothing scheduled don't appear at all. If the class has no slots yet, the card just says so.
Click Refresh to reload the schedule if you've made changes elsewhere and want to double-check what's saved.
Editing or Removing a Slot
There's no edit option — to change a slot's time, day, subject, or room, delete it and add a new one with the correct details.
To delete a slot, click the trash icon on its row. It's removed immediately with no confirmation prompt, so double-check before clicking.
Student Visibility
The Timetable page itself notes that students see this schedule on their own dashboard automatically — there's no separate publish step.
Best Practices
- Link subjects first — assign subjects and teachers to a class on its Subjects & teachers tab before building its timetable, so each slot can reference the right subject
- Double-check before deleting — there's no undo and no confirmation dialog
- Keep rooms consistent — use the same room naming (e.g. always "Room 12" or always "12") so the schedule reads cleanly
- Build one class at a time — the page only shows one class's schedule at a time, so work through your classes one by one
