Notifications
The Notifications section keeps you informed about important updates related to your child's education.
Accessing Notifications
- Click "Notifications" in the sidebar, or
- Click the bell icon in the header — the red badge shows how many are unread

The Notifications Page
The banner tells you how many unread notifications you have. Below it, All Notifications lists every notification with:
- An icon showing what kind of notification it is
- The title, and a High badge on urgent ones
- An orange dot while it's still unread
- The date and time
- The full message
If you have none, the page reads "No notifications yet."
Notification Types
Each notification is shown with an icon for its type:

Notification Preferences
Configuring Alerts
Control what you receive:
- Go to Settings
- Under Notification Preferences, switch each type on or off
- Click "Save Settings"
The available switches are:

| Email Notifications | Whether notifications also go to your email |
| SMS Notifications | Whether notifications also go to you by SMS |
| Grade Alerts | Alerts when new grades are posted |
| Attendance Alerts | Alerts about attendance issues |
| Fee Reminders | Payment reminders |
| Event Notifications | School event alerts |
Recommended Settings
Keep enabled:
- Attendance alerts (absences)
- Fee reminders
- Grade updates
Multiple Children
Notifications are sent to you as the parent, so the list covers all of your children. Read the title and message to see which child a notification refers to.
Tips
- Check daily - Review notifications regularly
- Act promptly - Respond to urgent items
- Configure wisely - Enable the alerts you need in Settings
- Watch the bell - The header badge tells you when something new arrived
- Enable email - Backup for missed alerts
WARNING
Don't disable important notifications like attendance alerts or fee reminders - they help you stay informed about critical matters.
